These muffins are delicious, moist and full of flavor for your little ones. With bananas and chocolate chips, it's sure to make their mouth water. Make these muffins a healthier option by replacing plain flour with whole wheat flour.

Ingredients

A
150g self raising flour
50g plain flour
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
10 tablespoons CERELAC Wheat, Banana & Prunes

B
125g brown sugar
3 large ripe bananas, mashed
1 egg, beaten
75ml water
75ml oil
75g dark chocolate, roughly chopped

Cooking Instruction

  1. In mixing bowl, sieve ingredients A and stir in CERELAC Wheat, Banana & Prunes and set aside.
     
  2. In a jug, mix together the sugar, bananas, egg, water and oil, then pour into dry ingredients and gently mix until combined.
     
  3. Fold in chopped chocolate.
     
  4. Spoon mixture into muffin moulds to ¾ full, spread evenly.
     
  5. Bake in preheated 180˚C oven for 15-20 minutes or until lightly brown. Remove from oven and let it cool down and served in room temperature.
