This is a double ingredient combo of bananas and dates to give a rich and healthy introduction to fruits and solid textures. Bananas and dates contains fibre which helps with good digestive system.

Ingredients

50g butter
50g honey**
1 tablespoon pitted dates flesh, chopped
100g banana, mashed
10 tablespoons CERELAC Wheat & Honey* 

*Honey used in this product has undergone an externally validated heat treatment which inactivates any Clostridium Botulinum bacteria, making our product safe to consume.
​ **Honey should not be introduced before 12 months of age unless the spores of Clostridium botulinum have been inactivated by adequate high-pressure and high-temperature treatment, as used by industry.

Step by step

  • Cooking Instructions

    1. In a saucepan, melt butter with honey** until dissolved.
    2. Remove from stove, stir in dates and banana.
    3. Stir in CERELAC Wheat & Honey* and mix well.
    4. Pour into greased cupcake pan and bake in preheated 180°C oven for 15 minutes or until lightly brown.
    5. Remove from oven, let it cool, and cut into slices.
